Kasato Rum Cake

Before Santa arrives, add to your list one more recipe: Pick some amazing sugar jelly candies from store and encourage yourself to make this yummy Kasato rum cake. You will be amazed how delicious it is. This cake is sweet, soft and chewy. It will become your favorite Christmas dessert of all time.

Ingredients:

200 g sugar jelly candies
2 eggs
180 g sugar
1 packet vanilla sugar
180 g butter
300 g ground biscuits
60 g dark chocolate
2 tbsp oil

1. Chop finely jelly candies. In a cooking pot beat eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth.

2. Heat water in the other pot, and place the first pot on top of it. Lightly beat egg mixture and steam for 20 minutes or until cream becomes thick and silky.

3. Add butter and stir for 1 minute.

4. Combine cream with ground biscuits and chopped candies.

5. Grease foil paper a bit with a cold butter and place the cake mixture on top, using your hands to form oblong shape as you like.

6. Wrap foil around the cake and refrigerate.

7. Melt oil and chocolate and pour the glaze over the top.

Sweet Protein Balls

These protein balls are super easy to make – rolled in coconut or cocoa, can be made in minutes. All you need to do is mix the ingredients together, form them into balls, and refrigerate. If you are looking for a healthy snack that is nutritious and filling, you don’t need to look any further than protein balls! They also come in handy if you’re craving something extra after dinner. If you are a walnut lover, you have to try these!

Ingredients:

50 g butter
200 g biscuits
50 g walnuts
2 scoops of whey protein
1 tablespoon rum
150 ml tangerine juice
coconut flour
cocoa

1. Stir together ground biscuits, ground walnuts, whey protein powder, rum and tangerine juice until combined.

2. Form and roll into balls and coat in the coconut flour and cocoa powder.

3. Refrigerate

Chocolate Hazelnut Nests / Christmas Thumbprint Cookies

With a dark chocolate and roasted hazelnut, everybody will rave over these amazing cookies.
These cookies, also known as bird’s nests, have been around for decades and get filled with many different toppings. Usually Christmas is perfect time to bake them, because they bring up choco-hazelnut amazing flavor.

Ingredients:

250 g ground biscuits
180 g roasted ground hazelnuts
150 g butter
150 g dark chocolate
6 TBSP sugar
2 dl water
130 g white chocolate

1. Process biscuits in a food processor until finely crushed.
2. Process roasted hazelnuts in a food processor.
3. Melt butter, dark chocolate, sugar and water in a cooking pot. Stir until boils and then set aside.
4. Add ground hazelnuts and biscuits in a still hot chocolate mixture and combine well using spoon.
5. After cool down, shape mixture into small balls. Dip every ball in a coconut flour (optionally). Place them on baking sheets lined with parchment paper and press thumb into center of each cookie, leaving an indentation.
5. Chill until ready to use. melt white chocolate and pipe swirls on top of the nests.
