400 ml warm water 12 g salt 12 tbsp oil 800 g flour 8 apples 1 squeezed lemon juice 1 tbsp cinnamon 3 tbsp poppy seed 4 tbsp sugar melted butter
In a bowl pour warm water, add salt and oil and stir all together. Add the flour gradually and stir in with the wooden spoon and after that knead the dough with hands. Divide the dough in 2 parts, coat them with oil and leave it to rest for 2h covered. For filling stir grated apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, poppy seed and sugar. Roll the dough with a rolling pin and strech it with your hands all around and place the filling on top. Roll the strudel in, coat it with some melted butter and put in in the the oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes.
