Bajadera
Bajadera cake has great hazelnut chocolate flavor and delicious layers. In Croatia we often use hazelnuts and almonds to get lighter taste. While you can buy original pralines from Kraš, we love this homemade version even more. Fine nougat blended with almonds brings amazing recognizable flavor.
Ingredients:
100 g roasted hazelnuts
100 g almonds
9 tbsp water
100 g sugar
170 g butter
250 g ground biscuits
200 g dark chocolate
2 tbsp rum
1. Use blender to to grind roasted hazelnuts and almonds.
2. Melt sugar and butter in hot water.
3. In a bowl combine together roasted nuts, ground biscuits and melted butter.
4. Split the paste into two equal parts. Into first one add melted chocolate, and in second one 2 tbsp of rum.
5. Layer half of the chocolate mixture in a baking dish, spread and press using spatula or spoon.
6. Spread light paste on the dark one, and rest of the chocolate layer on top.
7. Coat the cake with melted chocolate and refrigerate.
Prepare Easy Raspberry Cake
This cake is proof that an eye-catching dessert doesn’t have to be complicated, Fresh or frozen berries will make this cake super moist, soft, and tender. You just need 10 ingredients and 10 minutes to combine them and place the cake in the oven.
Ingredients:
3 egg whites
3 egg yolks
3 cups sugar
3 cups milk
1 cup oil
8 cups flour
1 baking powder
400 g raspberries
1 vanilla sugar
powdered sugar
1. In large bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
2. In a separate bowl beat the egg yolks and sugar.
3. Pour the yolk blend into first bowl and mix until combined. Beat in milk and sugar.
4. Whisk together the flour and baking powder.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the batter and mix until smooth.
6. Pour the batter in greased and floured cake pan and arrange the raspberries on top. Sprinkle with vanilla sugar and bake at 150 °C for 30 minutes.
How To Make Delicious Panna Cotta
Raspberry panna cotta is the perfect light, smooth and creamy Summer dessert. It is easy to make and the texture is rich and silky. It can be made with fresh or frozen raspberries served with a simple raspberry sauce. You can basically flavor it to whatever you are in the mood at the moment, but with raspberries you can never go wrong.
Ingredients:
200 ml milk
2 tbsp cornstarch
200 ml heavy cream
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
1/2 tbsp semolina
oil
60 g forest fruits
100 ml water
3 tsp sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
1. In a cooking pot whisk together milk, cornstarch, heavy cream and vanilla sugar. Bring to boil and add semolina. Cook for 2-3 minutes while whisking.
2. Pour the puree into oiled dessert molds or dishes and chill in refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
3. For sauce bring to boil berries and water. Add sugar and corn starch dissolved in water. Cook for 1 minute.
4. Turn each panna cotta out onto a serving plate. Spoon over the sauce and garnish with some raspberries.
Apple Decoration Snack Christmas
With the apple slices arranged into the tree shapes, this is the perfect dessert for a Christmas party or a winter night in watching movies! Use cookie cutter shape to make this beautiful and super delicious snack. It’s so easy and quick to make, your guests will be impressed. The touch of chocolate and walnuts gives amazing flavor to the cookies.
Ingredients:
2 apples
1/2 lemon juice
2 tbsp rum
50 g chocolate
25 g butter
25 g walnuts
15 g coconut flour
sugar
1. Wash and slice apples without removing the peel. Use a tree shape cookie cutter to core the center of apple slices.
2. Place both rings and core into a bowl. Pour lemon juice and rum over. Stir gently so as not to break.
3. Place the apple rings on a plastic cutting board and fill them with mixture of melted butter, chocolate and ground walnuts. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
4. In the meantime dip the apple trees into coconut flour and sprinkle them with sugar.
5. Decorate the plate with the cookies as you like and enjoy.
Easy Cranberry Christmas Cake
This Cranberry cake is made with dark chocolate, dried cranberries, plum jam and cocoa. At first when I tried this cake I fell in love with the dark chocolate and cranberry combination. I always use organic coca for this recipe since it is healthier and tastier. It turn out to be my favorite brownie recipe. This year I made it for Christmas and everyone who tried them was delighted.
Ingredients:
120 g butter
130 g dark chocolate
120 g plum jam
120 g sugar
70 g flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
40 g cocoa powder
3 eggs
50 g chopped chocolate
20 g cranberries
1. Slowly melt the chocolate and butter in a pot. Stir in plum jam and sugar and turn off the heat.
2. Add dry mixture of flour, baking powder and cocoa powder. Stir well.
3. Pour in beaten eggs and whisk until completely combined.
4. Stir in the chopped chocolate.
5. Pour the cake mixture into the lined tin and scatter cranberries over.
6. Bake in preheated oven at 170 °C for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry.
Red Blueberries Smoothie Christmas Edition
This refreshingly delicious blueberries smoothie will leave you feeling beautiful inside and out! It is so thick and yummy so i prefer to serve it in glasses or jars and dig it using spoon. If you serve it as beautiful presentation like this, two color layers will look very attractively.
Ingredients:
70 g blueberries
1 banana
1 cup of blueberry juice
30 ml sweet cream
1. Blend blueberries, banana and blueberry juice until smooth.
2. Pour the smoothie into glasses and spread the whipped cream on top.
3. Decorate with some berries.
Pancake Shapes Dessert Surprisingly Simple
If you love to experiment with pancakes and make beautiful looking desserts, use a metal cookie cutter to get different shapes. Since the festive holiday is near I used Christmas cookie cutters to get small cute pancakes. This charming treat brings a fun joy to kids and adults also. You don’t have to be the best artist to make them since they’re surprisingly simple. Batter is made from the common pancake ingredients, just a little more thicker. After they are done, you can spread some jam between pancakes and decorate them with whipped cream, or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Ingredients:
150 g flour
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
1 egg
300 ml milk
coconut oil
1. Mix together flour, sugar, egg and milk.
2. Grease the pan surface with coconut oil and place cookie cutters on top.
3. Heat the oil and pour a thin layer of batter into the cookie cutters. Fry for a few seconds and remove cutters. Flip the pancakes and fry until brown.
Upside Down Cupcakes – Christmas Yellow Cupcakes
Since everyone loves cupcakes, here is one Christmas dessert version to present. They’re extremely easy to make, texture is light and airy and corn flour brings amazing flavor and yellow color. Perfect for family gatherings or just as yummy treats for yourself 🙂
Ingredients:
2 eggs
70 g sugar
1 lemon sugar
200 g cream cheese
20 g corn flour
50 ml milk
organic cocoa powder
1. Beat eggs, sugar and lemon sugar until foamy.
2. Mix in the cream cheese, corn flour and milk.
3. Butter a cupcake pan and fill it with the batter.
4. Bake until edges of the cupcakes turns crispy brown.
5. Take out the cupcakes and place them upside down on the tray.
6. Sprinkle with some cocoa powder.
